Qualcomm teams up with Novacom Europe
Vwise solutions to be integrated in the Qualcomm portfolio
Transport Logistic, Munich – 10 May 2011 – Qualcomm Enterprise Services Europe is teaming up for a new partnership with Novacom Europe to integrate Novacom’s Vwise solutions in the Qualcomm product portfolio. The Vwise products are industry leading technologies which deliver outstanding on-board information and analytics. They will add more capabilities to the Qualcomm product portfolio for untethered trailers.
The integration into Qualcomm’s telematics solutions is an important step forward to deliver solutions with additional built-in intelligence on a European scale to current and future customers.
Customers can benefit from bundled telematics solutions with sensor information, in particular for cold chain transportations. The data are collected via a built-in engine and a variety of sensors. Users will get access to a large number of attributes for more transparency and their trailer status as for example the location of their vehicles and trailers. The information and additional analysis are available in real-time via a user-friendly web-portal.
The Novacom Interface is also demonstrated the QES stand 213/314 in hall B2.
